Bellord Plants, based in Bath, helps people to make the most of their gardens.

I am a gardener; I provide plant advice, planting plans, surveys, planting identification and garden design to Bath and the surrounding counties.

I use my knowledge and experience to read the garden, talk to the owner and suggest ways to improve that space. You may have just moved to your property and want to know what all the plants are, you may want to radically overhaul the garden, slightly change it or you may simply need some help with gardening. If any one of these scenarios is the case then please contact me.

Founded in 2009 I have many years experience of the plants, trees, shrubs and landscaping materials that will look really good in your garden.

Jobs to do Now

Autumn is a good time to prune the shrubs and generally think about the structure of the garden. Divide perennials and get rid of plants that you do not like.

Mulch and manure.

Plant Aquadulce Claudia broad beans, shallots, sweet peas and onions to over-winter.

Now in Flower

Autumn flowers that have not been given the last orders by the frost will still be on display.

If you can resist the temptation to clear seed heads then these will provide a handy snack for birds and form interest in the Winter.
